Oooh oooh...If I survived an encounter with Jack, I'd be doing a whole lot more than smiling. :p Wink

But then I'd have to get all up in Gia's face and she'd probably woop my butt, pregnant or not. Besides which, we all know what a faithful guy Jack is now.

Talons!
They also need two fingers and an opposable thumb, instead of three fingers. All with talons.

I've just received (and read) my OCP copy and that is not a goofy smile, although it looks a bit like it in the thumbnail in FPW's post. There's lots of teeth in that mouth and it's almost like a sneer.

You can also make out the talons curled under the fingers.

As much as I like everything about this edition I have to agree with KRW about the opposable thumb. A little difficult to grab anyone around the neck without one.

I always pictured the creature as a cross between a shark, (get that picture of Chevy out of my brain!) a werewolf and a well muscled human. Something that could swim with ease yet walk with a preditory stealth. The face in the pictures doesn't seem to fit my picture, I keep looking for a long snout full of sharp pointy teeth. But hey, I'm certainly not the expert. I also agree with KRW, where is the thumb?

The only reason I know it has a thumb is because of the time ................................................................

It was just a personal experiance that I just couldn't pass on. Believe me, they have opposable thumbs. But, a rarely known fact about the Rakosh is that walking across gravel hurts their feet. Wink

Tis true! They won't even walk across lava rock! They'll jump over it, but they won't walk on it! I hear Scarlip has a thing for honey suckels, but that's just hear-say.Big Grin
