haunted air - Ken Valentine - 06-08-2004

bryan01 Wrote:Ok, here is a question. It has been a while since I read Nightworld. I just finished The Haunted Air (excellent) and have read all of the RJ books (all excellent, actually) so I felt inclined to come to the website. Here F. Paul Wison himself said that there will never be a book after Nightworld because that would be too horrible to fathom, yet, if I remember correctly, at the end of Nightworld, Rasalom is defeated? AM I missing something?

I don't remember his words, but the impression I got from them is that he doesn't want to deal with a post-apocalyptic scenario.

At the 12/3/03 event at B&N Lincoln Triangle, Paul answered my question about that kinda like this: Jack has flourished living in the cracks of society. After NIGHTWORLD, even though the Good Guys win, those interstices won't exist anymore. So what's the point? (After awhile, I stopped beating my little fists and heels on the floor. Paul, always the gent, pretended not to notice.)
