But I'm using the same font size you are. It looks exactly the same as yours on my monitor. Verdana Size 2. This is freaky. Did you see my other posts okay? I think the Otherness is afoot! On my laptop at home it starts out normal, then the sentence before the quote, the dharma quote, and the 2 or 3 sentences after the quote went to a miniscule font. Then it went back to standard size. Bizarro! It's the Island, I tell you, the Island! LOST Tonight!! - Paul R - 04-30-2007 I loved it when Patchy ran out of the jungle. Had a feeling that guy would be back. And it made me think back to when Juliet was talking to someone at the beach (can't remember who... it might have been Hurley; in fact, I'm sure it was Hurley) and he indicated to Juliet where Ethan had been buried... and there was a look on her face like she was thinking 'That's what you think!' Was a little disappointed that Jin and Charlie didn't disregard Desmond's promise to let Patchy go though. I thought for a moment Jin was ready to take Desmond on but it was not to be. That's right. Remember Locke's statement to Paolo when he was trying to bury the diamonds, "nothing stays buried on this island." I still think Paolo and Nicki will arise before too long. LOST Tonight!! - Paul R - 04-30-2007 It opens up a whole world of possibilities (is that word spelt right? It looks wrong...) if people we thought were dead aren't necessarily so. But then if people can come back from the dead then why can't the pregnant women? So many questions...! LOST Tonight!! - metllicamilitia - 05-01-2007 Maggers Wrote:In the beginning, many folks suggested that they were all dead and the island was...well, neither heaven nor hell but somewhere else. At least I'm not the only who thinks it's a cover-up. My parents just won't believe me, they just want to think everyone's dead. I'm still saying it's all in Hurley's head. Nothing had me think otherwise yet. Especially not a twist or 2 thousand an episode. LOST Tonight!! - Maggers - 05-01-2007 metllicamilitia Wrote:I'm still saying it's all in Hurley's head. ... Sorry, but no way do I see it like that. That idea (of waking up from a dream) has been done to death in series TV. It would be beneath the clever writers of LOST to play such a hackneyed trick on the audience. The writers see themselves as far more creative than that, and they are. No, they will come up with an idea that has never been done before on series TV. LOST Tonight!! - Paul R - 05-02-2007 metllicamilitia Wrote:I'm still saying it's all in Hurley's head. I think Hurley will definitely play a big role in the Big Reveal, whatever it turns out to be. But I don't think it will be all in his head. Like Maggers said, it's been done to death on TV and the Lost writers are far cleverer than that. I'm beginning to wonder whether Hurley might be an Other though. Look at the last episode, when he 'accidentally' mentioned the satellite phone in front of Patchy. And why is he always going on the various treks through the jungle? I don't think Hurley's... athletisism would necessarily benefit anyone on a jungle adventure. LOST Tonight!! - Auskar - 05-02-2007 Right now, I'm picturing a final episode that "flashes" on many of the clues given along the way and why we should have figured out, similar to the ending of "The Usual Suspects" when Kevin Spacey is gradually walking straighter, more confidentally, as the clues flash and we beging to figure it out.... Oh, Keyser Soze. Duh. LOST Tonight!! - ccosborne3 - 05-02-2007 Paul R Wrote:I'm beginning to wonder whether Hurley might be an Other though. I was starting to think that you were on to something there but why would the Others want a guy that worked at the chicken shack. Still possible I guess, it would certainly explain his keeping the weight up by raiding the Others secret Twinkie stash. |
