This week's and last week's episode was what I've been waiting for: the turning point that says, Hey, this is the final season. Theorizing for the sake of theorizing is getting old. The flashbacks, flashforwards and flashsideways are beginning to merge. The light at the end of the tunnel is in sight. We don't know what awaits us there, but I'm sure there's a good theory someone would like to share. Rolleyes

AC

P.S. And if Ben went with Ricardo, I'd walk the opposite way too. Good explosion, though. I thought she'd never leave.

At first I thought that Desmond hit Locke as a form of revenge because he knows what's going on in both timelines. How about if Desmond hit Locke just to give him a near death experience and force him to remember everything?

I also loved the teaser for next week that was playing the boat ride song from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. "There's no way of knowing/ Which direction we are going" Well said Lost.

I agree. This song sounded evil during Willy Wonka. It was perfect for the teaser.

Best line of the night goes to Sawyer....Claire hasn't been the same since she had Locke's Kool-Aid.

I don't think MIB-Locke used Christian's form...I think MIB lied here. I think that was Jacob.
I don't think Sayid killed Desmond....but did he get him out of the well?
I think Jack is right, MIB-Locke wants the group of candidates off the island...the question is why?

The reunion of Sun and Jin was great....one good thing at least.

I don't want Jack to be the chosen one, but his insight last night is making me think he might be the one. Damnit!

Do we even know if Jacob can "resuscitate" dead folks? Have we seen any definitive proof of that? I can't remember any. So for me, Jacob working through Christian is not a proven fact, as is the MIB's ability to reanimate dead bodies.

I have always thought Jack would be the chosen one. I've always thought it would come down to a Jack vs Locke fight for the Island, as it has always been between those two. I know it may be silly, but Jack's tatoos sort of sealed the deal for me long ago (he is a leader, he walks among us but is alone or something similar).

I loved the last episode. It's one of those we've-got-to-get-the-characters-together-from-all-over-the-Island-for-the-finale episodes.

I've got a question...who killed all those people from the Ajira flight? You know, the bodies that the girl scientist working for Widmore had said she'd piled up but she didn't know who killed them? Is that baloney? Did Widmore kill them all? If yes, then he's REALLY heartless and will think nothing of killing off as many Oceanic survivors as he wants, except the ones he thinks are necessary to the survival of the Island.

So, I guess, by reading some of this thread, Lost is about more than a group of people stuck on an island.

I was shocked when Sun and Jin had their moment. I was honestly expecting the sonic fence to be active. Instead I got a cornball line delivered by Lapedus.

Also: "Who's with you?" as everyone is soaking wet coming out of the ocean.

I need to watch this episode again to verify something that seemed odd.
