The Fisher King. Gilliam may be the only person who can fuse Williams' style of comedy with drama and make it work.

Insomnia, thought Williams was excellent in that.

Good call. I love the Fisher King.

Noticed he has been playing dark characters lately. Insomnia, One Hour Photo, and The Final Cut. He does have the look of a harmless person and I think that helps to make his characters more menacing. The big, tough bad guys are easy to spot, but it's the sneaky bastards that blind side you.

Sam, have you seen "The Final Cut" yet? I haven't and was just wondering if it's worth seeing.

And, Hilary Swank! Don't forget her. Wink

I saw her movie, "Boys don't cry". So far, that's her best movie. Before it, I didn't know about her. I almost forgot "The Karate Kid 4". After "Boys don't cry", she is now excellent actress. She is one of most Improved Actresses. "The Core" was not good, but I think Million dollars baby is good. This is in my "I want to see those movies" list.

I really liked Million Dollar Baby. I'd be interested in hearing your Eastern Culture take on the issues in the movie.

"Million Dollar Baby" was astounding.

Yep. It's...well, I liked it but not something I'd buy on dvd. Williams' character is hard to sympathize with because of the secrets he keeps that any moral person would tell the authorities. An event in his past causes him to be like that, but there's a certain scene where his obsession is more important than a very sick secret he knows about the person he is talking to. It's a psychological drama, I guess. The implant raises an interesting question, too. A good flick but not a blockbuster. Give it a try though.

Thanks, Sam, I'll put in on my Netflix queue.
