Maggers Wrote:Ken, you asked a simple question and got a 3 volume book for an answer! I apologize for the length of this post.

Don't apologize, it was a nice story.

Our Mitten, nick-named Puss-Puss, was born under a cow in Golden, Colorado. Kaye chose her because she was such a tiny kitten with huge paws. She was a Polydactyl, or "mitten-toed" cat. Instead of having four toes on the ground and a dew-claw on each front paw, she had all five toes on the ground. And instead of four toes on each hind paw, she had six. She lived for three years in Colorado, one year in Vancouver, Canada, and her remaining fourteen and a half years in Califnordia. An amazingly intelligent cat. Her most notable feat was that she taught herself to use the toilet.

LOL! That is an amazing feet...er, feat! She taught herself? Unbelievable! How would a cat even come to consider the workings of a toilet? Quite extraordinary!

Most extraordinary.

We think she got the idea from watching me. At any rate, we discovered it after Kaye started to chide me for not flushing the toilet. But I Did.
"No you didn't."
"Yes I did."
"No you didn't."
"Yes I did!"

We were reading in the livingroom one evening when Kaye heard a tinkling sound coming from the bathroom, and got up to investigate. There was Mitten, perched on the seat, widdling in the toilet. Mitten did this for the rest of her life.

As an aside; that's what got me in the habit of leaving the seat down. (I left the seat up once and Mitten fell in.)

Lisa Wrote:Hi guys,

I redesigned the fansite and moved stuff around a bit. I also added some screen caps of the old board so those of you who weren't around can gasp in shock and awe. The screencaps are in the "funny stuff" section.
