The messed up part, the fact that it was a comedy was completely lost on me. I thought it was a real horror film.

I just realized Jeffrey Tambor is in this. Ties in nicely with the Arrested Development discussion.

The only thing I remember from that is making grilled cheese sandwiches and not taking the cheese out of the wrappers.

While you were watching it? It was that good?

No no no. It was a scene IN the movie.

LOLOL! That was one of our favorites too. But, um, we knew it was comedy. Haaaaaaaaha.

I loved Saturday the 14th, but how the heck did you think it was a straight horror film?

Student Bodies is another one that got a lot of rentals. "Malvert pee red", "Chicken... broken", "I'm talking into a rubber chicken".

I just watched Stan Helsing last night and while it was incredibly stupid, I got some decent laughs out the first hour or so.

You said Student Bodies but for some reason I can only think of Summer School.

One we used to rent a lot was Bad Medicine, starring the inimitable Steve Gutenberg. For a while we thought that was the funniest movie ever. I haven't seen it in like 20 years so I'm sure it's not as great as I remember, but we still quote lines from it in my family.

"Mother of God, it's Gonzales!"

Another one I watched recently was Transylmania that had a few good laughs in it. The best one of recent vintage for me was The Night Of The Living Dorks.
