Yeah, even as well designed as the Kindle app for the PC is, it is still reading on a backlit PC screen. If I must read on the PC I like the app but I would choose not to read anything of great length on the PC.
You should really look into an eReader if you haven't already. Don't know your situation but I was a hold out and finally gave in and I must say I am really really enjoying it.
