I'm a little lost, so please forgive me for asking - Scott Miller - 03-15-2010

Bluesman Mike Lindner Wrote:My favorite DC hero was the Green Lantern. I just have the big S tee 'cause I did a favor for Bruce Wayne one time. He insisted I take it. Said it was from a friend of his, and it would bring me luck.

Too bad he didn't tell you it would all be bad.

Well, not =all= bad, Scott. Like that time in 2003 when I defended the old lady from a mugger on East 89th Street. I was wearing the shirt. Guy was fucked-up on drugs, I guess, and he rammed his knife into my chest. The blade broke off. The scumbag, the old lady, and meself all said one thing, almost in chorus: HOLY SHIT!

Like Socrates said. The truly wise man knows how ignorant he is.

(He also said, Wop-bop-a-wop-bop-a-wop-bam-boom, but that part got left out. It was up to Little Richard to rediscover the concept, many centuries later.)

This just in from Gauntlet's latest newsletter:

Speaking of Fatal Error, the next adult Repairman Jack novel, we’ve finished layout and it’s being proofed for the final time by F. Paul Wilson. As soon as the book is proofed it goes off to the printer. If things go smoothly this will be a June rather than a July release.
