Kenji, there's a movie house in Manhattan--the Quad, I think, on West 23rd--that shows RHPS every Friday at midnight. Those fans are =dedicated=!

That's gotta be the Ultimate showing ... I'd love to see it in Manhattan ... It doesnt show hear anymore because the chains wont carry it.

Medusa sounds like a way bigger fan. I concede to her pummeling fists, she can have them.
Out here we only get midnight showings at the independent theater once or twice a year. You'd think being so close to Palm Springs it would be more often.

That's what I wonder. What is so interesting about the film. I'm not going far away to watch a midnight show with weirdos in costumes.
Harry Potter wackos are bad enough. They are usually kids, not grown people.If I watch RHPS, it'll be in my living room. I wonder whether it's worth watching on it's own merits, or does it require the already described odd circumstances to be palatable.:confused:

It's a goof of a movie. Campy...outragious in parts...stupid in others. It's a fun time...to be made fun of...to sing along with.
Tim Curry was made for the part....btw...some of his FM shoes are to die for! lol

Seeing it at home isnt the same as seeing it in the theater!
Although I will have to tell you I was annoyed the first time i saw it in the theater because I actually wanted to see the movie ... but after you see the movie at home you will have to see it in the theater at some point to get the full affect .. and you have to yell asshole everytime you hear the name Brad and you have to yell SLUT everytime you hear the name Janet ...
And just remember this however bad you think this movie is the sequel is 100 times worse!

I suspect, maybe, people who've always felt outside of things, looking for a kinda family who won't judge them mean for being "weird."
