Goodness, it's an honor to get a direct answer from the Man himself! Thank you, FPW! Black Wind was just so authentic, detailed and well-researched that it was an educated guess that you had been to Japan. I've spent 7 years there myself and it's an amazing place.

By all means, take a 3-4 month sabbatical sometime and get an in-depth look at the Land of the Rising Sun. It's an intriguing mix of the thoroughly modern, side by side with thousands of years of cultural tradition.

Thanks again for the reply -- I'm enjoying my visits to the forum!

Welcome to the board, The_Texan.

I am Japanese and I live in Japan! Where were you living in? Smile

Hello,
I really think this site is a nice resource for individuals like myself that just sort of fell into Mr. Wilson's writing. I have never been a Sci-Fi / Fantasy/Horror fan of any kind and have gone through stretches where I don't read anything for months, but just by chance I happened upon Bloodlines in a Barnes and Noble and have been pretty intrigued ever since. I have enjoyed reading the discussions on this board for about a year and thought I might as well signup and be more pro-active. Thanks... Dave
