Welcome aboard, Sam. :hello:

I like the term "Jackmares". I don't think I'd want to have one, but the word is pretty cool. Cool

Haha yeah, Jackmares aren't the best in the world, but they sure are entertaining! It's a sign that I'm just so "obsessed" in the book that I almost become a ficitonal character in the book itself. I'm glad you like the word. It just seemed to fit.

Oh! Thanks for the warm welcome Smile

...although I read my first FPW novel over 20 years ago. That was The Keep of course. After completing it (I only ever read books once although I will re-read the whole Adversary Cycle when the revised Nightworld comes out) I remember feeling empty because it was such a great novel and it looked like the end!!!! How little did I know!!!
I decided to join the forum after just finishing Bloodline, because I need my RJ fix. I hate long periods between books and currently waiting to get my hands on By The Sword but then of course the next book isn't out till August. So whatever I do, there's gonna be a gap!! Can't win!!
What am I gonna do when the RJ series is all done and dusted???? He's such a great character I believer he can carry on after Nightworld MKII.
I have read other FPW novels and have enjoyed them all.
I am from the UK and to be honest, haven't come across many FPW or RJ fans over here. Although I have just discovered via Facebook an old friend of mine is also a big fan. The problem with having a chronological series like RJ is you give someone a book unless its in the beginning of the series, they're a bit lost.
So, hello everyone and hope to have some good conversations about RJ and other stuff!!Smile

Welcome! Smile

I think my first FPW Book I read was Midnight Mass, then the Keep, after that the Haunted Air... Then I was hooked and read the series in order! I also was able to get my hand on Reborn and read it, unfortunately the rest of the Adversary Cycle has eluded me until recently.
I actually lucked out being an FPW fan, he releases his new RJ books around the time of my birthday! I remember when Harbingers came out, it wase about a day before my birthday! (Weird thing to remember I know)
I have yet to find anybody else who likes FPW let alone heard of him! (Unless I loaned out the Keep or Midnight Mass to relatives)

Welcome Sam and Silad. This really is the best place for Wilson fans. Everyone here is terrific, my best experience on the web.

Welcome

I joined a while ago but life has kept me too busy to post and I just got on again yesterday. I have also started the series again figuring by the time I get through all of them the new version of Nightworld will be out as time to read is a luxury I can't seem to afford right now. I just finished Black Wind (it comes up in later parts of the RJ series) and it was great. Pick up a copy when you can.
