I've got Black Wind wishlisted on Amazon right now. I think I would have enjoyed By The Sword even more if I had known the background on the sword, Naka Slater, and all the rest beforehand. As I read I thought it was kind of strange that an unknown 'man on the street' would remember seeing something similar during the Pacific campaign during WWII, and refer to it as a 'wilt' with great confidence. Looking forward to filling in the gaps.

Finished Black Wind tonight. I'm impressed with the history and cultural depth in this book. I know there are tie ins with the newest book just out, I'll be tempted to read the threads to find out what. Next is Conspiracies.
