I have only read 3 of the books and HBO was on free last weekend so I saw the first episode ... then I told my bf who pays the cable bill that he has to order HBO so I can watch it every week. So he hasnt done that yet, so I havnt seen the 2nd episode
But I thought Anna made a really good Sookie.

The last book was From Dead to Worse. So much more about why Sookie is special is explained. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Thanks to Maggers for mentioning On Demand .... I see that I have until the end of December to order HBO and then I will be able to watch all of the episodes up to that point.

Who caught last night's episode? I do have an un-fair advantage, I've read the books. If the writers stay true to the story, Sookie will have some fun soon. The previews for the next episode gave us a glimpse of Eric and Pam. WOW! I'm glued to this one.

Last nioghts episode seemed more of a bridge than an actual episode. Still...this show is consistently enjoyable. (For a vampire show).
