Only if you like david Hasselhoff, and chicks in red bathing suits running in slo-mo.....and the "soap opera" like plot lines involving "lifeguards"

No. It's a really bad show, but it did have lots of girls in bathing suits (.... and guys.)

Originial (?) Intro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuYrRebvFHc

That's only because I mistakenly duplicate copied the same URL. OOPS! Oh, well, it's not really worth even trying to look it up again. Wink

Day Watch - law dawg - 02-25-2008

Kenji Wrote:Today I saw "Day Watch". Has anyone seen this?

I enjoyed first film "Night Watch". But this time, last 20~30 minutes only were good. Actually, some scenes confused me. I still don't understand the reason of swapped bodies of Anton and Olga. Was that a need?

But, well....visual effect was excellent as much as Night Watch.
Seen and read Night Watch. Have not read or seen Day Watch.

The book rocked, BTW.

Day Watch - bones weep tedium - 02-28-2008

I thought that Night Watch was a flawed but promising film, and thought that it was well worth a watch. There were loads of problems with the story, with plot holes and contradictions and all sorts. I guess that any problems it has I chalked up to a lack of budget.

I was looking forward to Daywatch, and is one of the very few films I have bought off the internet because I can't wait to spot it in a shop/find it for free online.

I was really disappointed, and turned it off halfway through. All the same problems from the first one were still there - weird acting, confusing/contradicting plot details, OTT visual effects - and I suddenly realized that the problems with Night Watch weren't those of a gifted creative team battling against a limited budget and a restrictive studio system, but the problem with Night Watch was it was made by an utter tool.

Badly paced, inconsistent tone, incomprehensible plot, bad acting, cringe-indicing 'cock rock' soundtrack. . . the film made me ANGRY.

SO I turned it off.

. . . . and then ranted about it on here.

Day Watch - Paige - 03-02-2008

I thought for a movie that "crossed" two different cultures together, it was actually a great deal of fun. Day Watch wasn't as good as Night Watch, by any stretch of imagination. However, I have both movies on DVD and push them on people shamelessly.

PS.
Hey everyone! It's been a while.
