I only like the M9 because for the last 4 months I was carrying the M16A2 and now I carry the M9. I never thought much of the M16, would probably prefer the AK47 (or AK74). But then my exposure to fully automatic long arms has been minimal. Of course the addition of the grenade launcher does improve the M16's appeal! What is best in life? - beowulf - 01-12-2008 1. Not saying the M16 is all that great either, but since we can only carry what is issued to us we are kind of limit, know what I mean? Yeah the Ak has a better round (but heavier) and you can pretty much fire it in any condition, but its not very accurate when fired on full auto...at least not that I've seen. I've always wanted a G3, but could never afford one. Now that I can afford one I've barely been back in the states long enough to get one! Such is life. The M203 is awesome...I especially love the "pop" sound it makes when the round is fired...awesome stuff. What is best in life? - cobalt - 01-13-2008 hmmm.......we're not just limited to three....good! Hubby and I cuddled on the couch, blanket around us and a fire in the hearth. Snuggled up dogs....that contented sigh of a full belly and a warm spot to nap in. Purring kittens or cats. Hey, I may have dogs....but what's better than a contented pet? A good meal with good friends....don't forget the wine! A "snuggled in" spot on a cold day....with a good book and a cup of coffee. A three day week-end....woohoo! Paying all the bills and having alot of money left over......doesn't happen enough! My family and friends....that includes you guys! Feeling secure in my world...love my Sig-Sauer P230 .380.......thanks to hubby! What is best in life? - Silverfish - 01-14-2008 The sound of gentle rain on your tent.
