Not just one movie, but a series of at least 3, the last of which was made for TV. I, too, associate "Cutting Edge" with the fluffy skating movie.
There have also been 2 books by the same name written by Linda Howard and Robert W. Walker, respectively.
I haven't come up with anything better, though.
