A Night at the Museum - Scott Miller - 04-08-2007

fpw Wrote:Many of his old phone-call standups have not aged a bit. I have a bunch on my ipod and listen whenever I feel like smiling. Like...

The brand-new security guard at the Empire State Building calling his boss in the middle of the night because there's nothing in the manual about how to handle a fifty-foot ape climbing the building.

Walter Raleigh on the phone from Virginia to the East India company in London trying to convince them that tobacco would be a good import.

My parents had all three of the Button-Down Mind albums which I loved, but it has been years since I've listened to them and I've enjoyed every one of his TV shows. I just checked my libraries and they had plenty of stuff for me to listen to, watch and he has even published a memoir, I Shouldn't Even Being Doing This! so I'll be needing plenty of water in the near future.
