Ran into them in Chicago. They were visiting there from their summer home in Alaska. Gave me some fresh-picked tomatoes from the family farm in West Virginia.

Wow! I've met PMcP only once. I was in Hollywood last month helping Stallone edit ROCKY VI. About 11PM one Tuesday night, Sly turned to me and said, "I don't know what I'm doing. Who would? He went on: "Here's my advice--here's my best advice. Get out of here. You're not meant for this pustulating shithole of a town. Take a fast freight back east. I'll give you some money. Here's a tomato, for luck." And I did what the visionary director said. Best move I ever made.
