By "befriend everyone" I meant anyone that requests to be your friend accept (except when the persons picture is a gorgeous big breasted woman in skimpy clothing... that's spam). Do a search for people with similar interests (i.e. you) and request their friendship. It's a little work but once you start building up a list of friends those friends friends will start asking to be friends with you.
