Goblet of Fire is about twice the length of the other Harry Potter books which they're already hard pressed to squeeze into 2.5 hours. The Kill Bill refence was the studio making the decision to cut Kill Bill from a nearly 4 hour movie into two.

This will not happen for a HP movie. There is too large of a kid base for the movies and there are already (theoretically) going to be seven books/movies. Assuming books each book continues to get longer, that would make eleven movies.

Finally, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is released in Japan, and I saw this evening(Sunday night).
I loved it! The story line was good. I already read this book. I prefer than "stone" and "chamber". I think this was success into a film. More dark fantasy, and more weird. Specially, Gary Oldman, he is REAL Sirius Black. Nice casting!

I think I would have liked the third movie more if the changes hadn't been so profound.
1: Prof. Flitwick's appearance drastically changed (He's the conductor of the choir when they are singing "Something Wicked..")
2: Tom, the owner/bartender of Leaky Cauldron turned into Quasimodo wannabe.
3: Malfoy turned from a capable foil to the trio of heroes into a whiney little snot.
4: Crabbe or Goyle (can't remember which one) replaced with unknown Malfoy henchemen.
5: Lack of explaination about the Stag, and that prongs was Harry's father.
6: Lack of explaination that Wormtongu, Padfoot, Moonie, and Prongs (creators of the Marauder's Map) were Peter Pettigrew, Sirrius, Remus, and James Potter.
7: Heavy handed scene transitions were kind of annoying, at least to me.
