Paul R Wrote:LOL. This is great, though I'm not sure how they'll market Jack's Toolbox for the young adult market!

The slipcase for the collection would be made of really shiny stainless steel with a front panel of clear plexiglass, for viewing the book spines, and secured with a big-ass padlock. The books would be removed by opening the hinged top lid. Inside the lid would be a removable tool tray could contain optional "Neat Stuff" that Jack acquires in the stories. "Neat stuff" being of course stuff like a Quisp Watch, Rocket Radio of the crystal variety, etc.

Oh, or are you being facetious?

I like the idea about "Neat Stuff" That's what he collects after all. Good one Keith!

Copy and paste, copy and paste...:p

No, seriously I really do program & design web sites. So, see, my job requires me to be on the Internet all day, yeah, that's it - it's a requirement. And if anybody asked, I'd say I'm checking out this board because the functionality is really impressive (which it is) and I'm considering reverse-engineering it (which I'm not). Smile Nah, it's a tiny little company and we're pretty laid-back so it's no big deal as long as my paying projects get done.

Besides - the first list took maybe 30 minutes to put together, and since then I've just added to what was already saved. I don't alphabetize it myself - I let Excel do that, so it's only taken maybe fifteen minutes for each update. No biggie, really Smile

Me too! I absolutely LOVE this toolbox concept! OMG, it's hilarious! I can definitely see it as a picture book series for pre-readers....Baby Jack! Big Grin
