LOST Season 5 *Spoiler Edition* - Alvin Fox - 02-12-2009 Faraday doesn't remember his time travels to Charlotte as a little girl because he hasn't done it yet. That's what I'm thinking anyway. Still trying to figure out one of Daniel's first scenes in the show. ("Why are you crying?" "I don't know.") Maybe the Daniel we see (post Oxford) is a future Daniel and he's suffering the effects of time traveling which is why he's under some sort of care. He made all of these notes for himself. When he gets into contact with Desmond (his constant) his time travel symptoms went away which is why he never got a nose bleed. But then Locke didn't get a nose bleed either. One thing that bothers me that doesn't have anything to do with the story or anything is the arm being ripped out of the socket. It bothers me because whenever it happens in a show or movie there's always that little part of the shirt sleeve that also comes off with an arm. I dunno. Just me bein' weird. Will he travel from the orchid or from the lab his mother has....I'm assuming.....in the church? That should be an enlightening episode. But I think you are right about Daniel and his needing a nursemaid as we saw when he was introduced last year. On the other hand, in this year's first episode, we see Daniel on the Island when the Orchid is being built. When did he travel to that era and mix it up with the locals? I got the feeling in that scene that he was traveling incognito, traveling as Daniel undercover. LOST Season 5 *Spoiler Edition* - Brian - 02-12-2009 That was a good episode last night. Locke needing to set the wheel back onto it's proper position to stop the flashes. Jack's father (I forget his name) being the one to help Locke by telling him what to do with the wheel. But was he really there? He couldn't touch Locke, as if he had no substance, or was it that he couldn't interfere even to help Locke walk with that broken leg? All I know is that every time I think I've answered a piece of the puzzle, I get 5 more questions. The return of the smoke monster was good too! We learned alot there. Did anyone else think it was funny or was I overthinking how Ben reacted to Des saying he was there for Faraday's mother? That was a funny scene. I thought so, too. You do mean funny as in Ha Ha, and not funny as in peculiar, right? Quote:I Can't wait to see what locke goes through off the island. I am also wondering who Charlottes father was, it has to be someone important to point it out. It's possible Charlotte's father is Widmore. I have the feeling Widmore is also Daniel's father. Hmm...busy boy our Mr. Widmore. And if that is the case, then Daniel was in love with his sister. Oie vey. But Charlotte could be the love child of Ben and his childhood sweetheart. But Ben would have known that and probably wouldn't have tried to kill Charlotte as he did last season. Who else was on the Island back in the day? Ben, Widmore, Richard Alpert, even Locke, though he never hung around long enough to get to know anyone...lol. Not many other important ones, I don't think. Who am I missing? Do you suppose Jack's father was ever on the Island before he died in Sydney? I guess there's always Jacob, but we haven't a clue as to who or what Jacob really is....at least I don't. Quote:So does the island stop shifting through time now? I kind of took it as the time was shifting because the wheel was off a little and if Locke pushed it and it went into place does that fix it?I agree. I thought that, also. Seeing the wheel wobble like that make the Island's wobbling in time make sense. LOST Season 5 *Spoiler Edition* - Medusa - 02-12-2009 I've been wondering about Christian Shepard too. He was dead before Jack even picked up his body in Australia. So why is the island using his "ghost" as opposed to someone actually "related" to the island? LOST Season 5 *Spoiler Edition* - colburn0004 - 02-16-2009 I've been trying to think about Charlottes father and I keep thinking it is Whidmore. I think there is more evidence that Whidmore may be Faraday's father with him funding his research and all but the more I think about the conversation with Charlotte where she revieled she knew faraday as an old man I was thinking that maybe that is how Whidmore knows him too. Somehow during the course of finding the island he comes across a man who researches time travel and reminds him of an old man with the others who talked about time traveling and things and decided to fund his research. I don't know this show has me lost but the more I think about it the less I think Whidmore is Faradays father. Does anyone remember if Penny has ever mentioned siblings? Theres more of a resemblance with Charlotte and Whidmore and Penny. LOST Season 5 *Spoiler Edition* - colburn0004 - 02-16-2009 Medusa Wrote:I've been wondering about Christian Shepard too. With the recent reveal that Locke has to die to bring the O6 to the island it makes me think more about how Christian died and Jack was brought to the island and Christian is seemingly alive now. Maybe Christian had to die to bring Jack to the island, much in the way Locke has to die to bring the O6 back to the island. In a way of convincing them or setting them up to be on the island. Like Christian died and Jack crashed on the island. Locke died and it's making Jack convinced he has to go back to the island and some others. Just a thought. LOST Season 5 *Spoiler Edition* - chickybubs - 02-17-2009 i just keep getting more and more confused - think i'll be having nose bleeds soon totally off point does anyone else remember the conversation between sayid and hurley (think was season 1) when they found music on the radio and sayid said it could be coming from anywhere. hurley replied " or any time". again bringing us back to hurleys importance to the island. knew charlotte had to die but thought there was more to come from her before she did. am soooo looking forward to lockes adventures off the island.
