Yesterday I learned that Comic-con will be in Dallas sometime in 2014. I may actually go, especially since all I have to do is hop on a train to get there.

Which one is that? The only Dallas Comic Con I have on my list (which I may need to update) was last month. If there enough people I want to meet I'll go to Dallas. The Texas Frightmare Festival in Dallas in May has Linda Hamilton and a couple others from the Terminator series so I'm thinking about that one. They are about to add some Walking Dead actors to the list.

Considering I am only 5 hours from Dallas, these conventions sound mighty tempting.

Its longer than 5 hours to get to Dallas. It shouldn't be but hubby has to stop to have smoke breaks.

Buy him an e-cig and make the drive in 5 hours. LOL

Even with the increased speed limit along I45? I think it's now 75, which means you can zoom along at 80 or faster.

Oh Tony! (shaking head) ha ha. He wanted one for Father's Day. Got him good one and after using it for a day decided that regular cigs tasted nasty. I thought it was great and soon he'd kick the habit. Slowly but surely he went from using it in place of the real cigs to using it in addition to the real cigs (in the places he can't smoke real ones. Guess my great idea backfired.

The smoke stops were the main problem. But he gets a little stubborn when he's driving (and I don't dare offer to drive - ha ha). Last year when we went to Dallas he heard that traffic would be horrible in Conroe with construction at 105. So he picks this out of the way drive that he swore would be better. It added an extra hour to the time. Some people just aren't meant for long trips. lol I love my husband but he is definitely one of them.
