Selling First Editions - ravenje - 01-30-2012
Hello all, I am selling most of my library collection, including all of my F. Paul Wilson first editions. I have them listed on Alibris, but not getting much attention there. Thought I'd drop a note here to all the other fans and see if anyone is interested. Also, am I getting few hits because of the economy, do you think? Or are there better places to sell his books? I know about Amazon and Abe books, but haven't listed there yet.

I have had luck selling on EBay. Some firsts sell better than others. I know selling a Gauntlet edition of The Haunted Air can easily get you over 250 bucks. Others sell for less.
Keep in mind, just as the economy has hit you hard, it has hit other people as well and not everyone will be looking to shell out excessive dollars for first edition books.
Keep the listings active as long as you can, eventually people will bite.

I have purchased most of my collection via eBay (well, the stuff I did not buy when it came out). If decide to list there, post back here. I know others on the site use eBay and have shared rare items or good deals from time to time.

I think more people need to know about www.fetchbook.info. You can look for a used book there and they will check all of the used books sites (Alibris, Amazon, Abebooks, Barnes & Noble, eBay, Half.com, Biblio, etc.)
