The Secret Of Kells - Scott Miller - 02-05-2011 My daughter and I both loved it. It features some of the more wonderfully unique animation I've ever seen and the story is good to boot. Aisling, the wood fairy, ranks as one my favorite cartoon characters of all time. I definitely recommend this one to anyone who enjoys animated movies and even those that don't. And I'd say it's family friendly although there are a couple of intense moments. The Secret Of Kells - cobalt - 02-05-2011 Scott...was it about Ireland? That's the only Kell I know of. It was set in Ireland but I don't think you could say it was necessarily about Ireland. The Secret Of Kells - cobalt - 02-05-2011 Thanks....I'll check it out. The Secret Of Kells - The Mad American - 02-05-2011 We liked it as well, the animation reminded me of "Samurai Jack" if anyone has seen that. I loved the layered details in teh animation. The Secret Of Kells - GeraldRice - 02-07-2011 Just requested it from the library. The Secret Of Kells - Karithna - 02-16-2011 I've noticed it's on netflix. I'll have to check it out. The Secret Of Kells - GeraldRice - 02-16-2011 I wanted to see it, but didn't have enough time. I requested it from the library again. My daughter watched a lot of it, but I think the subject matter is a little too mature for a four year old. I got her a DVD player for her birthday and she watched some. From what I saw of it it was interesting. Now I have to teach my daughter how NOT to beat on the DVD player. I have no experience with this at all, Gerald, but maybe show her how to express rhythm by dancing? Or get your little girl something it's cool to hit--drums?:hello: The Secret Of Kells - GeraldRice - 02-16-2011 bluesman mike lindner Wrote:drums?:hello: nooooooooooooooooooo! |
